Its heads come in a variety of different shapes suited for specific types of temporary fastening connections. Bolts include cheese head bolt, T head bolt, hexagonal bolt, eye bolt, hook bolt, cup head bolt, headless taper bolt, countersunk head bolt, and square head bolt.
A screw is a type of fastener that is quite similar to bolts in the sense that they also have a head and threaded pin down the head, but in this, the pin is pointed. A washer is a type of fastener that goes along with nut and bolt in a temporary fastening connection.
